West Virginia Polls

About one year behind schedule, Putnam County finally entered the 21st century this April by opening its first Wal-mart. Yes, the mega-super-ultra-all-selling-all-knowing-hyper mart institution is now available for everyone who had to drive those 20 minutes to Nitro.2

Mark Blankenship Enterprises?s West Virginia poll conducted from 18-21 February, 2008 showed Clinton leading Obama with 43% to 22% democratic vote. With Margin of Error = 4.8%, the poll gave Clinton 21 % point lead over Obama.3

Barack Obama said his grandmother was a typical white person whose distrust of black strangers on the street is inbred. She was never afraid of black strangers on the street until she recorded a rap album without giving Suge Knight his cut.4

He is being challenged by Republican Brent Benjamin, a Charleston lawyer who has devoted much of his legal career in private practice defending corporate clients in civil lawsuits and workers’ compensation claims. West Virginia polls suggest the electorate is split, with a third backing each candidate and the rest undecided.5

John McCain moves a step or rather 20 steps closer to the Republican nomination with a win in Puerto Rico. McCain gained all 20 delegates at stake in the contest.6

Blankenship’s firm also gauged residents on West Virginia-related issues. Voters were asked if they thought West Virginia was, in general, on the right track or the wrong track.7
