Venom Movie
IESB has an exclusive scoop stating that a Venom movie is in the works. Back in July Avi Arad publicly stated that he was working on the Venom movie.1
Spider Man 3 was a huge let down. Seeing Venom being brought to life in his own feature film might be the only way to salvage him as a truly menacing movie villain.2
Gillespie and Williamson — this time as a producer — reunite for Venom and you would think they would have learned some things the second time around. Corona Coming Attractions continued their investigation into the status of the Venom movie. In considering the question of whether or not it would be possible for Eddie Brock, Venom’s alter-ego, to make an appearance in the Spider-Man movie, CCA learned that the option on the character was no longer held by New Line Cinema.5
Many critics found Venom to be a stereotypical teen slasher movie. Spence D. from IGN Movies called it a ?Cookie cutter horror straight from the Swamps of Louisiana.?6
