Obama Meet The Press

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:00 pm

Today Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama was on NBC?s Meet the Press for the full hour. Besides talking about the gas tax, Rev. Wright, and all the other regular campaign issues, Obama was also able to talk about his plan to reduce oil consumption by 35-40 percent.1

One poll showed that the Illinois freshman trailed only Mrs. Clinton among Democratic voters expressing a preference for a 2008 candidate. A senator with less than two years’ experience warms the cockles of Democratic hearts more than such familiar standbys as Al “The Sky Is Falling” Gore, Jokin’ John Kerry and Joseph Biden, still eager to make the world safe for hair plugs.2

It makes absoluteluy no sense for Obama to be “mixing metaphors” so to speak. He says that he only wants a limited number of troops in Iraq, but will not tell Tim Russert how many.4

You had Carville and Matalin and the other repub who are all three against Obama, and Shrum, who seemed to marginally favor him. That’s fair for ya in the MSM.5

HOWARD KURTZ: Clearly you just wore him down, Tim, he got tired of saying no to you. He figured he may as well run or he’ll just keep getting these questions.6
