Once again, the pups and people of CCI-New Jersey are back to raise money and awareness at the New Jersey marathon! Not only has CCI been honored as an official beneficiary of the New Jersey Marathon Weekend.¹

That same weekend in Long Branch sees the 11th annual New Jersey Marathon, which benefits children’s charities. Whether you’re a runner or a spectator, the action starts and finishes at Ocean Place Resort and Spa.²

The New Jersey Marathon attracts more than 10,000 participants. It features a USAT&F-certified 26.2-mile marathon, with a new two-loop course through the diverse neighborhoods and business districts in Long Branch and adjacent Monmouth Beach.The weekend?s activities also include the Long Branch Half Marathon, the Gold?s Gym Two-Person Marathon Relay, family activities for all ages and abilities and a health and fitness expo.⁴

The five mile race began at 12:30 today. Now it’s time to focus on the 2008 E. Murray Todd half-marathon in March and New Jersey Marathon in May.⁵
