On January 6th, 2008, at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Alysha Noel Harris, of Lexington, was crowned the new 2008 Miss Kentucky USA? in what was her first pageant. Alysha is a twenty year-old sophomore at the University of Kentucky persuing a degree in Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders.¹

Following her college graduation, Kristen decided her pageant days weren?t over and entered the 2005 Miss Kentucky USA pageant, once again winning the crown on her first attempt. Again, she placed 2nd runner- up at the national Miss USA pageant, live on NBC.²

Arnold returned to the spotlight in 2002 when she won the Miss Kentucky USA crown. She represented Kentucky in the Miss USA 2002 pageant won by Shauntay Hinton of the District of Columbia, but again failed to place.³

Conner’s first pageant experience came in 2001 when she won the Miss Kentucky Teen USA crown. In August 2002 she went on to compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant held in South Padre Island, Texas and placed second runner-up to Vanessa Semrow of Wisconsin.⁴

Conner won Miss Kentucky USA crown on 2005, which means that for some reason she actually chose to remain in Kentucky after her first win. Well, a blond, you know.⁵
