Mindy, Kalel and Jordan were in town the weekend of Friday, June 4th, 2004 for a quick visit to see her family and the kids. He was talking a lot to Mommy Nika and laughing whenever Grandma Aggie would talk to him!¹

Agents from the New York office of the FBI will be interviewing witnesses to try to determine whether or not foul play was involved. Although neither the cruise line nor the Coast Guard will comment or release the passenger’s name, media sources have identified her as 46-year-old Mindy Jordan, a practical nurse, who lived in New Jersey.²

Neither the cruise line nor the Coast Guard released the passenger’s name or residence. Louise Jordan of Bordentown told WPVI-TV in Philadelphia the missing woman was her daughter, Mindy Jordan, and her daughter’s boyfriend, Jorge Caputo of Pine Hill, had notified her family from the ship.³

The victim named in the first two counts was Barbara Givens, William’s mother, and the victim named in the third and fourth counts was Mindy Jordan, William’s girlfriend. Following a trial to a jury, Givens was found guilty of kidnaping and abduction and not guilty of the remaining charges.⁴

Jordan watched as Mindy, the Office Manager at the rink continued her conversation on the phone with Bob. When she suddenly dropped the phone and cast a quick disbelieving glance at Jordan then quickly picked the phone back up to finish the call, Jordan cautiously made her way across the ice toward the office.⁵
