Cincinnati Marathon
Cincinnati Marathon, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed to host a national event, the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon, which raises money for charities. Proceeds will be donated to a list of over thirty charities.1
The Cincinnati Marathon has become one of the hottest new marathons in recent years. People who live near Cincinnati, Ohio get the pleasure of attending this annual event.2
“It will add another level of excitement to the whole race,” commented Rich Williams, race director. “The Cincinnati Marathon is a fun race for the novice or everyday runner and this now adds some incentive for the more experienced elite athlete.”3
To join the Cincinnati Marathon, the participant has to be eighteen years old or older to be eligible. However, in cases where a younger person is interested in participating in the event, this can still be possible.4
The Mission of Cincinnati Marathon, Inc. is to provide a premier event open to athletes of all running abilities that is dedicated to supporting charities. It inspires community celebration and rewards the emotions of all participants, sponsors, volunteers and spectators.5
The city has organized Cincinnati marathon every year which is the famous and largest long distance running event of the Midwest Cities. Marathon race and other endurance sports are very famous through out the city and marathon training centers and other endurance sports clubs can be seen every where in the city.6
