Chad Fox
Chad Fox is back with the Chicago Cubs after they signed him to a minor league contract on Friday, reports the AP. In April 2005, Fox went from being the Cubs’ possible new closer (after another LaTroy Hawkins blown save) to a “career-ending injury” in matter of two days.1
Born in the mountains of Western North Carolina, J. Chad Fox began drawing early in life, creating comics and designing characters. Throughout high school he penciled and inked a series of small comics, which led him to apply to the Savannah College of Art and Design.2

is Doug Dascenzo’s second year as the Fort Wayne Wizards skipper. Before he came to the club, he spent many years in the Major Leagues with the Cubs, Rangers and Padres and played on two College World Series Teams.4
As for Fox, he looked OK, especially the last five or six pitches he threw. Some of you may remember that Fox was signed to a minor league contract during the off-season, and received an NRI to big league camp with the Cubs.5
Not only is this not an impressive number of RBIs for nearly four seasons, it’s not correct. Per the Day by Day Database, Pujols has 456 RBI since 5/19/04.6
The out was a nervous one as Sammy hit the ball hard to the backhand-side of shortstop Alex Gonzalez. Alex made a great play, picking that ball and throwing Sammy out.7
