Ap Calculus

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:01 am

AP Calculus students are encouraged, but not required, to take the AP Calculus test. Students should check with the mathematics department of the college or university that they plan to attend to ascertain their policy regarding advanced placement as soon as possible.) The AP Calculus test will be given on the morning of Wednesday, May 7, 2008.1

An interactive text, graphing software and math symbol software combine with the exciting on-line course delivery to make Calculus an adventure. This course is designed to prepare the student for the AP Calculus AB exam given each year in May.2

The major component of this course is a complete first year college Calculus. Students will review and extend their knowledge of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and other areas as appropriate for contest preparation.3

Most colleges and universities offer a sequence of courses in calculus. Because of this, it depends on the policies of the institution and the results of your AP Exam as to where you are placed in their sequence of courses.4

These questions offer a great opportunity to test your knowledge of calculus and practice for the AP exam. They stay within the range of the standard AP Calculus curriculum (mostly AB but also some BC).5
